Restaurant Consultant

Our team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Restaurant Consultant to join our Toronto team. Working in a team -centric environment, the consultant plays a vital role in a variety of services for both existing restaurants and clients opening new restaurants.

Key Responsibilities

You are responsible for a full range of tasks necessary to meet the needs of clients. Specific tasks may include:

  • Manage own client load, meeting deadlines and expectations
  • Pair clients’ needs with own expertise and that of the 15 Group team
  • Manage client project’s timelines
  • Supplier relations, introduction and communication
  • Development concept business plan, systems and standards documents and process tools

Qualifications and Education Requirements

A successful candidate would have experience or qualifications in the following areas:

  • Minimum of 10 years in Restaurant operations
  • Minimum 3 years as a restaurant General Manager or Regional Manager
  • Strong financial acumen specifically related to cost of goods and labour controls
  • Experience in a minimum of 3 restaurant openings
  • Previous involvement in concept creation; including development employee and service manuals and operation standards
  • Exposure to construction and design considered an asset
  • Diploma and/or degree from a hospitality considered an asset

  • Strong attention to details
  • Effective organization skills, ability to multi task
  • Desire to learn and direct self-learning
  • Strong communication skills – good email and phone etiquette
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft; POS technology
  • Works well with little to no supervision
