New Restaurant Opening

After two successful years of travelling to various food and cultural events throughout Toronto selling their hand made Indian street food dishes, sisters-in-law and co-owners Seema and Amreen decided to take the advice from their customers, and build a brick and mortar location for Bombay Street Food. Although the team was experienced in producing their dishes for smaller event crowds, they required our team’s expertise on how to scale their business to a fast casual restaurant concept.

In preparation of the opening, our team had the opportunity to travel to Bombay with Seema and Amreen to experience the vibrant culture of Mumbai, and the incredible flavors of the dishes prepared by the abundance of street food vendors. A local food blogger was our tour guide throughout the trip and he inspired us with the history of the food, restaurants and city culture. As a team, we left Mumbai with a clear vision of what Bombay Street Food needed to be.

Bombay Street Food leveraged our Opening Handholding Program, which was led by Tyler Fraser, one of our Senior Consultants. We supported their restaurant and business development for over two years.
